EZOfficeInventory Release Notes

The team at EZOfficeInventory rolled out some exciting updates this November. Get up to speed with our upgrades, from the metric system for Printout Templates and User-Listing specific Arbitration Settings to smart Mobile App enhancements and much more!

1. Metric system for Printout Templates

Different companies around the world use different standards and formats. To accommodate for this, EZOfficeInventory now offers a Metric system and gives you the option to choose between inches or centimeters as your default measurement unit while designing Print Labels. 

2. Arbitration Settings for User Listings

Multi-team organizations often require Administrative approvals for certain User Listings and not for the others. EZOfficeInventory facilitates this by enabling you to configure Arbitration settings for each User Listing. It further gives you the option to allow Staff Users in a User Listing to create items for the User Listing or put them in maintenance.

3. Custom retire reasons

EZOfficeInventory gives you a list of predefined reasons for retiring an item to choose from. However, we understand that this list doesn’t encapsulate every possible reason. Different companies have different reasons for retiring items. This is why you can now add custom reasons as well when retiring items.

4. New Alerts for Work Orders 

Our new alerts for Work Orders ensure timely completion of your Work Orders. You can now set up and send alerts for Work Orders due in ‘x’ days, due on a certain date or overdue past a certain date to the concerned Assignees and Reviewers. Assignee(s) will also get notified via email when Reviewer(s) add a comment to the Work Order as feedback.

5. Customizing Low Stock Alerts page

EZOfficeInventory now gives you the ability to add and remove columns on the Low Stock Alerts page to suit your needs. Let’s say, you need to display which vendor is responsible for restocking particular items – simply add a custom field for it!

6. Mobile App enhancements

Now view Asset Stock Overdue on the mobile app Dashboard and request mass check-in of Asset Stock items. Our Mobile App also shows the Fuzzy List in reserved Carts so you can choose and add from a list of suggested items.

7. API enhancements

You can retrieve details of a member by specifying their Member ID using the EZOfficeInventory API to support your custom development needs.

Audit Request Upon Checkout
