Sometimes, organizations develop specific item labels to customize their workflows. Developing a business structure with personalized asset names improves employee productivity. However, companies struggle to find a software solution that enables them to use custom labels for asset names.
Taking this demand into account, EZOfficeInventory has introduced advanced customization for its users. This feature enables users to rename assets according to their business processes for easier identification.
1.Enable advanced customization
Enable the feature from Settings → Add Ons → Advanced Customization.
2.Rearrange your navigation system
To customize asset labels click on ‘click here to go to customization engine’.
Clicking this will redirect you to the customization engine
Here you can rename asset, asset stock and inventory according to your business requirements. Click on the edit icon next on the right side of the tab and you will be redirected to the naming standards tab of the appropriate section.
3.Enter custom labels
You can enter custom labels for different modules depending on the nature of your business.
3.1 Enter custom labels for Asset, Asset Stock and Inventory
On the Naming Standards page you can enter customized labels for asset, asset stock and inventory.
Note: If any of the fields are left empty the default name will be applied.
3.2 Enter custom labels for Carts and Work Orders
Apart from Asset, Asset Stock and Inventory you can also enter custom labels for Carts and Work Orders.

After you have changed the item labels, the Navigation Menu and Listings page would look like this:
You can go back to the default settings any time by clicking the Revert to Default button.
As an account owner, you can also enter customized labels from More → Customize tabs on the dashboard.
