To customize your inventory data depending on your needs, we provide Custom Fields, which can be used to track any data point with an item, cart, or purchase order added to our asset tracking software.

Bundles Revamped – EZOfficeInventory

asset tracking softwareBundle items together to reserve and check out with ease and speed. A bundle is a flexible combination of items, which acts like a check out list. It is used to optimize checkouts based on asset characteristics and availability. Enable bundles from Settings -> Add Ons -> Bundles.

A different feature, Packages can be used to clamp together set of assets such that they are always checked-in/out together. Learn more on Packages.

Feature Release – October 2014

halloweencandy_finaldesignWe just sent out special Halloween Candy in form of a feature release. It incorporates many popular requests from users like you. Here is a quick run-down:

chairs_assetstockASSET STOCK: This is a new category in-line with Assets and Inventory, and is designed for items where individual tracking is considered unnecessary. For example, 100 chairs or 500 plates. If you don’t want to add 100 individual chairs as assets, you can add a single entry for chairs as Asset Stock. You’ll be checking out quantities to members e.g. 10 chairs to Mark Anderson, 30 chairs to Emily Rose. Continue reading

New Features in August

We have released some new features based on the recent feedback that we received from our customers. Here is a quick rundown on what they are.

TIME ZONES – EZOfficeInvetory now supports setting up time zones. You can define a time zone for your company. If you’ve a large team, spread around different time zones, individual users can pick their local time zones. To set a timezone for everyone, have a look at Settings -> Company Profile. To set time-zones at individual user level, have a look at member profiles. Continue reading

Get Higher With Our Latest Boosters

We’ve just released another power packed upgrade. Like always, the new features cater to customer requests and user stories that we have been collecting.

The new features include:

  • Cart for taking collective actions on a group of assets and inventory
  • Subgroups to improve categorization of assets and inventory
  • Customizable content for alert emails

cartCART: Assets and inventory can be collected in the cart while browsing items. Useful actions like check out, new sale and reservation can then be taken on these items. Actions taken on carts are summarized in a single email sent to users. Continue reading
